Prioritizing Safety, Wellness, and Peak Performance

At Marlborough, the health and safety of our student-athletes come first. Our Sports Medicine program supports students throughout their athletic journey—from injury prevention to recovery—so they can perform at their best.

What We Offer

On-Site Certified Athletic Trainers (ATs)

Two BOC-Certified Athletic Trainers are available at practices and home games, providing expert care when it matters most.

Injury Prevention & Personalized Care

We focus on preventing both acute and chronic injuries, managing emergencies, and offering tailored rehabilitation plans.

Trusted, On-Campus Support

100% of student-athletes work with our athletic trainers for injury prevention, and baseline concussion testing; while 80% of Marlborough student-athletes have used our athletic trainers for injury evaluation and treatment—often avoiding unnecessary trips to urgent care or the ER.

Team Education

Every student-athlete on each sports team receives seasonal educational sessions on common injuries and illnesses specific to their sport.

Expert Partnerships with Cedars-Sinai

Our ATs are allied health care providers who work in conjunction and under the direction of Dr. Tracy Zaslow of Cedars-Sinai.

Baseline Concussion Testing

Every Marlborough student-athlete takes part in baseline concussion testing through ImPACT Applications, Inc., which evaluates memory, cognition, and reaction time. In the event of a concussion, this data helps guide a safe and informed recovery process.
